Tempest has emerged as a distinct voice in the West Coast  Alt-R&B scene, captivating audiences with her blend of raw vulnerability. Her musical journey began with an introspective cover of Drake’s  "Young Playa Footage," setting a precedent for follow up singles  like “Sorry To Say” and “Not The Same.” Each song is a testament to her ability to articulate deep emotions.

Raised in Long Beach, she spent 2020 refining her sound, drawing from a broad spectrum of musical influences. While the music industry shut down, Tempest reflects on this period as a monumental moment of artistic growth. In her last release, Tempest collaborated with Naomi Wild on the track “So Gone” which delves into the nuanced emotions of modern dating, particularly the experience of being ghosted.This year Tempest has been teasing the release of an upcoming EP, "The Ranch," set for release on August 30th. Promising to be a continuation of her emotive journey, "The Ranch" is set to cement Tempest's place as a dynamic and influential voice in today’s Alt-R&B scene.
